I recently learned that the KN153 oil filter changed specs. Meaning, last year that oil filter fit my bike. This year, that oil filter did not. Huge pain!! I bought OEM Ducati filter from Amazon. Double the price, but at least I know it fits. I usually use 10w-40 motorcycle oil, but you can get better kinds. 1.The only beef that I've ever had with Ducati is the cost of parts. I don't think they'll ever rival the Japanese in terms of reliability, but they are built so much better now than they ever have been.
